Are you looking to turn your health and wellness interest into a career? This new program may be the best fit for you! 

As a Health and Wellness Promotion program graduate, you will be groomed to design, develop and implement health and wellness promotion activities with the goal of maximizing quality of life and reducing or preventing the occurrence and recidivism of illness and injury. Graduates will also support individuals, organizations and communities with health and wellness initiatives and implement and maintain lifestyle change through educational campaigns incorporating health and wellness promotion concepts and behavior modifications interventions. 

Growing interest in the promotion of health and wellness as a means to prevent and combat acute and chronic illness has led to expanding career opportunities. The Affordable Care Act is expected to further increase demand for individuals who can support health and wellness related programming to prevent and treat disease.
