WTCS Ambassador Joey Maier shares how his experience attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College lead to a brighter future.
Sarah Fischer, welding instructor at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, says Women's History Month is a time to reflect. "There were a lot of women welders in World War II," she said. "The fact that not too many people even know about that, I think this month, it always seems we reflect and look in the past to see where we can get to in the future.”
New learning tools and equipment coming in spring to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC), along with the College’s participation in a national study, have the potential to make a big impact on education and industry in the region.
Mohammed Bey heads diversity, equity, and inclusion at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, a role he has held since 2014 — first as director and now as chief officer. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Marian University in Fond du Lac, he has also held diversity, equity and inclusion roles at Quinnipiac University and UW-Oshkosh.
