Wisconsin Technical College Tax Preparer Programs

The Tax Preparer Certificate will give job seekers an expertise in tax preparation procedures and provide related accounting skills which will make them more employable. Beginning in 2012, tax return preparers who prepare all, or substantially all, of a Federal tax return will be subject to new IRS requirements including: Registration, Competency Testing, and Continuing Education. The LTC Tax Preparer Certificate will help prepare individuals for the IRS RTRP (Registered Tax Return Preparer) Competency Test.
