Production Welding Programs

Production welders are in high demand. You’ll find employment opportunities in ironwork, construction and manufacturing, and could find yourself working on large amphibious vehicles and fire trucks, or small metal products like lawnmowers and snow throwers. The Production Welding technical diploma student can enroll at the beginning of either semester as openings become available. Summer enrollment will also be available as industrial needs dictate. Full-time students will be enrolled for 24 hours per week for both theory and the lab. Students will also have the opportunity to take additional hours in evening classes. Part-time students must remember that this appreciably lengthens the time to complete the program. Students must provide their own gloves and safety glasses with side shields, dress according to safety standards, and wear appropriate foot protection.
