Machine Tool Technician Programs

The Machine Tool Technician program provides training for employment in tool and die making; mold making; Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) programming; and precision repair machinists. Students use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technology, along with state-of-the-art machining centers, in this hands-on program. Students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and complete a machined part, injection mold, or stamping die and will learn to work from blueprint specifications and shop drawings.
