Golf Course Management Programs

The Golf Course Management program is designed to prepare students for positions as managers and assistant managers of both public and private golf courses. Students receive hands-on training during two 18-week, summer internship experiences. Job duties may include managing personnel and public relations, overseeing food and beverage operations, administering financial plans, coordinating golf shop operations, managing the maintenance of facilities and equipment, directing turf and non-turf management practices, and complying with regulatory and legal issues.
