Diagnostic Medical Sonography Programs

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is someone who is interested in working with sick, disabled, and dependent persons and with high technology. The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program prepares individuals for entry-level employment in abdominal, obstetrical, gynecologic and limited vascular ultrasound, with an introduction to echocardiography. This program is accredited through the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. Graduates complete the national registry examination in ultrasound physics, obstetrics, gynecology, and abdominal ultrasound.
