I was working full-time when I began exploring new careers. After some debate, I decided to pursue a future in land surveying. Between Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota, there weren’t many options. Ideally, I wanted the program to be affordable, two years and close to home. I did some research and found that Mid-State’s Civil Engineering Technology program was everything I was looking for. The program is affordable, has a strong record of graduate placement, the instructors are knowledgeable, the college has close ties with the community and I am a fan of the central Wisconsin location.
