As Fox Valley Technical College gathers more details of how the school will benefit in a second round of funding from a federal pandemic relief bill passed in December, one thing is clear: the first round helped FVTC students tremendously. In fact, it was a financial lifeline that kept some students in school.
Helping Students Finance Their Education
For many people, filling out yearly income taxes is the highest stress point of the financial year. When you add the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the stress of paying for higher education, it takes an expert to help students navigate. As BTC’s Financial Aid Manager, Craig Shultz supports a team of dedicated financial aid experts who connect students and their families with financial resources to fund their education. These resources include grants, loans, scholarships, veteran benefits, and others from federal, state, and private sources.

MPTC student earns Emerging Leader Award
Congratulations to Barbara Turner, of Beaver Dam, on earning the first Emerging Leader award from the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce. This award recognizes a high school or post-secondary student in Beaver Dam who demonstrates strong character, leadership, and community service. She served over 200 hours at the Chamber - helping the Executive Directory tremendously during COVID-19. Barbara was also recognized virtually by Congressman Glenn Grothman.
