NTC, Wisconsin Automotive Truck Education Association help launch post-pandemic career
Cale Greig always had a passion for cars and when the pandemic derailed his career in the hospitality industry, he traded in for something new.
When the shutdowns hit last year, Greig found himself in snag.
As a bartender a steady paycheck was hard to come by. So the husband and father of 2, picked himself up by the boot straps and returned to his first love.
"Where I could utilize my skills more and get back into the things that I truly like, like my passion for cars," said Greig.
He found a home at Olson Auto Body and Paint in Wausau as an entry level technician.
"A facility I could be at and someone that really cared about training," said Greig.
And that someone, is Kent Olson owner of both Olson Tire and Auto Services, as well as, the body and paint shop.
Olson has a passion for education, and is an active member in the Wisconsin Automotive Truck Education Association.
