President Foy on “Tour of Excellence” to celebrate Wisconsin’s technical colleges

MADISON – Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) President Morna Foy has embarked on a statewide Tour of Excellence, which includes a visit to each of the state’s 16 technical colleges. The goal of the tour is to recognize and celebrate the technical college students, staff, instructors, alumni and business partners who connect each college to their communities.

Yesterday the Governor signed Senate Bill 380, the Financial Aid Modernization bill. This bill will increase access for students who want to attend college but need financial resources to do so. These changes will help Wisconsin students navigate federal and state financial aid processes and better recognize the changing nature of today’s students and their diverse higher education pathways.
