Wisconsin’s technical colleges stand ready to help you reach your education goals and find a new civilian career.

More veterans are enrolling in college than ever before. Wisconsin's technical colleges have responded to this surge by increasing the services and assistance provided to veterans. Credit for prior learning and experience gives veterans a head start and GI benefits help you get a hands-on education and a new career path.

Let us help you develop and promote your talents in a field that matches your skills.

Advantages for veterans attending a Wisconsin technical college

There are many benefits to continuing your education. Here are a few ways our colleges can help you succeed:

  • Allows you to receive training and find employment quickly.
  • You can maximize credits you have received from your military service and, if you're interested, transfer to a four-year college or university sooner.
  • Smaller class sizes help you learn and gain confidence in a higher education setting.
  • Technical colleges generally have a more diverse population with a more mature student body. The average age of our students is 34 years old.
  • Our colleges offer flexible learning options and scheduling so you can work around work and family duties.
