
Wisconsin Technical College Computed Tomography Imaging Non-Clinical Programs
The Computed Tomography Imaging Non-Clinical Certificate provides learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a Computed Tomography Technologist.
Content is consistent with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists curriculum including physics and instrumentation, cross sectional anatomy, cross sectional pathology, procedures and protocols. The non-clinical certificate is intended for those who are currently working in CT and have the ability to complete their own clinical hours either on the job or through previous experience.
Upon completion of this certificate and the learner’s own clinical components, learners will be eligible to sit for the ARRT Post-Primary Examination in CT.
GRADUATES WILL BE ABLE TO…
- Identify gross anatomical structures for characteristic appearance function and location
- Demonstrate expertise in the application of CT principles and instrumentation
- Apply current industry protocols and procedures for CT
- Be eligible to sit for the ARRT Post-Primary Examination in CT in conjunction with the completion of required clinical exams
