RSS FeedsWhat is RSS?Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an easy way to be alerted when content that interests you appears on a website. Instead of visiting a particular website to browse for new articles and features, RSS automatically tells you when something new is posted online. Using an RSS feed reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources. These feeds include headlines, summaries and links to the full article. RSS feeds are free. How do I use RSS?When you have a RSS feed feader, subscribing to information is as simple as clicking on a "RSS" button or "Subscribe" link. Some web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera allow you to view RSS feeds directly in your browser. If your browser supports RSS feeds, clicking on the "RSS" button or "Subscribe" link will allow you to add the feed just like any other bookmark or favorite. If your web browser does not support RSS feeds, you will see the RSS code and will need to copy the URL for the page into a feed reader. You can locate a RSS feed reader via web search engines such as Google or Yahoo.
