WTCS President to take part in invitation-only
career pathways event at Harvard University

MADISON – Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) President Morna K. Foy will be at Harvard University this week to take part in an invitation-only gathering of nationally recognized education, business, government, and philanthropy leaders.

Over the next two days, Creating Pathways to Prosperity conference attendees will participate in a series of workshops organized around the work of creating education and career pathways that combine rigorous academics with strong technical skill instruction. This approach has gained national attention as a means to address skills shortages by making the path to high-skill, high-wage jobs clearer, more accessible, and simpler to navigate.

"Wisconsin is a recognized leader in creating these pathways, and this is another great opportunity to highlight that leadership, as well as learn from others engaged in this important work," Foy said.
