GrantsThe Wisconsin Technical College System awards funds to technical colleges and community based organizations under these major grant areas: Adult Education and Family Literacy (AEFL) ActAEFL funds are used to expand educational opportunities for adults and encourage the establishment of programs of adult education which will assist educationally disadvantaged adults. Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education (Perkins IV) ActGrants are used to improve educational programs and services leading to academic and occupational skill competencies needed to work in a technologically advanced society. General Purpose Revenue (GPR)Provide competitive and targeted grants for Wisconsin Technical Colleges. Includes Work-Based Learning Grants for Tribal Colleges to support work-based learning projects at the tribal land grant colleges of Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College and the College of the Menominee Nation.
