José Vásquez is the Chief Operating Officer at La Casa de Esperanza in Waukesha. He has approximately 40 years of management experience in the private sector, county government, and education, including at the technical college and university level. He held an educational administrative position at Waukesha County Technical College and also served as a member of the board at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). In addition to his board service at MATC he has also served on numerous boards including community based organizations, medical organizations, cultural and art organizations and educational organizations at the primary and higher education levels.
Vásquez holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas and a master’s degree in educational rehabilitation counseling from UW-Milwaukee.
