Andrew “Drew” Petersen currently serves as Vice President-External Affairs and Corporate Communications for TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS), the seventh largest wireline Telecommunications Company in the United States, with headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.

Drew directs the nationwide corporate communications, legislative, regulatory, public relations and charitable giving operations for TDS. Mr. Petersen is responsible for effectively developing, tracking and proactively implementing all federal and state legislative policy, regulatory relations, managing the TDS Political Action Committee (PAC) program and assisting in the development and organization of TDS’ nationwide legislative positions and strategy. Drew also serves as chief corporate spokesperson for TDS.

Drew is active in the civic community of Madison and the State of Wisconsin. His wide-ranging professional and community leadership currently includes serving as a gubernatorial appointment and President of the Wisconsin Technical College System Board of Directors, Regent to the University of Wisconsin System, Trustee for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Organization of Dane County, and incoming President of the Madison Club Board of Directors. Additionally, he is a Member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and has served on the Parish School and Family Board of Directors.

Drew, his wife Laura Imhoff Petersen, daughter Isabelle, and son Davis live minutes from the state capitol in the Town of Middleton, Wisconsin. Drew received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in History and Leadership Studies from Ripon College, Ripon, Wisconsin.
